Q. What is Pencilgraphs?
A. Pencil (portrait) + Photographs = Pencilgraphs. Clever huh? :)
Q. Are there other options other than size,
prints and calligraphy?
A. Sure, if there is something additional you'd like (e.g. background)
please let us know.
Q. How did you set your prices?
A. A great deal of time and effort is put forth creating the pictures.
The prices are highly competitive and trust us when we say - the hourly rate
isn't that great :)
Q. How long does it take for the average
portrait?
A. Depending on the complexity, they range anywhere from 4-8 hours.
Q. Quick! Can you do this portrait by
the end of the week?!
A. Probably not. Many factors go into the length of time it will
take to complete your portrait. Backlog being only one of them.
Mainly we don't want to rush the job, we have high standards for the work and
will not put out anything sub-par. Generally we request a minimum of 2
weeks.
Q. Do you do color?
A. Not at this time. Currently all portraits are done with drawing
pencils ranging from 2h to 6b. Charcoal and charcoal pencils also utilized
when applicable.
Q. Do you do pets?
A. While our focus is people, we have been working with pets and inanimate
objects (cars, structures, pets). Send us your inquiry!
